I really, really meant to get the first phase of my posts on Covenant Theology finished before I went to the Northbrook Conference, and this is why. Several controversial posts were written at that event and it broke the continuity of the blog. Then I get back and am preparing another post and my host drops the domain ball. I can forgive that. I really can. Now we are up to the next week and I could either bring this series back to the forefront or drop statement #4 on you with very little continuity.

That wouldn’t really be fair to you, so today’s post is intended to help anyone trying to follow along. The “title post” of this foursome (fivesome?) is God’s Covenant is His. Here are the first three posts in this sub-topic:

#4 should be out shortly, and is tentatively entitled: Covenant Administration.

God alone exercises accountability over His covenant.
God enforces the terms of His covenant, demanding perfect righteousness from us even as He provides this righteousness in His son.
