  1. Kaci says:

Wow, thanks for posting this. I wasn’t much of an Oprah fan before now, but I had no idea of her anti-Christian spiritual/religious views.

  2. David says:

    Wow. I’m astounded.

I was talking to a friend the other day asking what barriers stopped him from fully believing in Christ. I was quick to run into post modern thought and skepticism. As I attempted to break down those barriers, I found that there was a deeper seated unwillingness to give up what he wanted to believe in even as he admitted to objective truth.

  3. Matthew says:

Wow! I am stunned! Christians must unite against such false teachings as these.

  4. Deb says:

My sister was telling me about this tonight, I feel sick. I have been telling people/ family since I heard about Obama talking about how he would make peace with our enemies that he could be the anti-christ, now I really feel sick to my stomach after seeing what Oprah is saying and she is supporting Obama. The christians do need to pray, we may be closer to the Rapture than anyone knows, hopefully we will go pre-tribulation or mid-tribulation. I am going to make sure to bring this to my Pastor’s attention.

  5. Rod says:

That’s huge. I can clearly see the devil preparing for a great deception.

  6. Mark says:

She is preaching ‘moral relativism’ which is completely false. So sad and deceiving to those seeking the truth and clamping on to something that sounds so good and easy.

For a good talk on the faleshood of ‘moral relativism’, go to Google video and search for “Greg Koukl – Moral Relativism”. You can also click my name at the top of this post and you’ll be taken right to it. It’s a great talk to be watched by both believer and seeker.

    Cheers!

I have always had a lot of respect for Oprah. Especially have I appreciated her background and how hard she has worked to become the influential person she has become. Seeing “The Church of Oprah Exposed” makes me wonder what type of influence she is currently seeking. She is leading the masses astray. There is only one way to salvation, and that is through the blood of Jesus Christ. Whatever we are or hope to be is because of His amazing grace. This country needs a genuine Christian revival. We need to return to our heritage and basic roots. We need the Bible being read in our homes as we seek to make it a roadmap for our lives. When I think of the kind of influence Oprah could be having with her millions of followers I am deeply saddened. Maybe Oprah needs reviving…it’s not too late for her to turn this whole thing around. Our country needs a hero. I’d like to see her use her power and influence to rise to that occasion.

  9. Francisco says:

Are you guys for real!!?? “There is only one way to salvation, and that is through the blood of Jesus Christ.” If I told you I had a revelation and the Lord came to me, spoke to me, held, and told me that he would work through me, would you believe me? I believe in God. My God is not spiteful however. He would not condemn you for not following the words of others who supposedly have been sent by him to spread his word. The same reason that you all don’t want to give up your willingness to give up your beliefs, is the same reason why others don’t. Don’t feel bad and worry and begin talk of Rapture. Rather, accept peoples differences and beliefs and realize that what you may believe in may not be true and that there is no right or wrong way to “salvation” but only ways to live your life better. When its over, its over.

  10. Doug says:

You say you believe in a god, and have told us a few things about him/her. From what I can gather, this god is not very demanding, and may not even have any expectations of you. Could you elaborate on this god a bit? And if this god apparently does not even ask to be followed, why would you refer to it as “your” god?

  11. Sandra says:

The way to salvation words refered to are not my own. Those words come from the Bible. One either believes or doesn’t. It’s an individual’s choice.

  12. Sam says:

    Doug,
Way to expose the antichrist’s helper.

Francisco has got to be a plant just like the Scientologists do. You can tell by the method he uses. 1. Make a comment and end it in !!!?? to try to belittle the person posting before hand. 2. Then throw some misunderstood comments into a large sentence making it hard to disect the sentence and making it even harder to understand what they believe.

Oprah is clearly using her show to push her own religion which is her priority. It is very clear that she is a relativist and should be treated as such by all people everywhere.

And Francisco… if you made some claims such as you stated… I would clearly turn the “BLOCK this User’s voice” and get on with my life in Christ.

    His,
    Sam

  13. sophi says:

Wow, what an eyeopener. My husband warned me years ago about how Oprah would lead people astray. However, I dismissed it at the time as him being paranoid. I owe him an apology. I am both disheartened for her and the millions she is influencing, yet motivated more than ever to work hard and spread the gospel of Jesus. As a Christian minister who was born in India, I know all too well how North Americans get sucked into New Age thinking which is in fact just Old Age lies. Even something as subtle as yoga has seeped into America, and those of us whose fore fathers abandoned the lies of religions such as Hinduism fully know the dangers of one embracing it. Let’s work hard everyone. The enemy is crafty. Let’s speak the TRUTH but let us also do it in LOVE. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” Romans 1:16

  14. Denise says:

This is truly THE great deception the bible spoke of. A blasphemy to our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

  15. Denise says:

Fransisco, please pick up the Bible and read it before it’s to late.

  16. Sandra says:

Fransisco, one of the most exciting things about being a Christian is the ability to nurture a growing faith. I don’t have to figure “everything” out. The Bible is true. It is a Living Word. It amazes me how no one has a problem believing the Civil War took place. We didn’t see it ourselves. It is a part of history. The Bible is a history book too. Jesus was born to a virgin. He lived a perfect life. He performed miracles. He died. He arose from the dead. There were several people who saw him after he came back. Those encounters are recorded as a part of Biblical history. The best part is that He is coming again! Our part is to be ready for this wonderful reunion. We don’t have to be able to “wrap our minds around that”. We only have to open our hearts to believe, and God will work his wonders in our lives. If you are still searching for the Truth, keep up the effort. If you do your homework, your search will lead you to Him. He is the Truth you heart is seeking. When you find Him He will rejoice, and you will find a happiness and security you never thought possible. I personally guarantee that!

  17. Jemel says:

STOP IT EVERY CHRISTIAN OUT THERE. We are so quick to jump down someone eleses throat when things aren’t what we feel they should be. Do not get me wrong, I am very upset that Oprah’s beliefs do not line up with my Christian value of Jesus Christ is my savior. But, lets be real, she has done so much more than any of us combined in this world of selfishness. She is far more Christian than any of us when it comes to works.
For you to sit here on this site, gather a little information, make a judgement and belittle her is your business. Just realize the info you just listened to is snippets and is motivated to express someones opinions.
Jesus came here on earth to destroy the mindset of civilization and how they viewed things. Just a couple of decades ago, in this so called land of freedom, we had and still do have communities who practice Christianity but put burning crosses in a man’s front yard. Our land was built on Christianity but we practiced slavery and “my race is better than yours”. Let’s be real here everyone.
AND FOR SOMEONE TO HOLD THIS AGAINST OBAMA IS KINDA FUNNY. First he is shot down for going to a church that spoke truth, in a very aggresive way. And now he is condemned for having Oprah on is side and her beliefs of being proactive and helping someone. Give me a break, thats all you can find on a guy, and call him a anti-christ. STOP IT CHRISTIANS.
By the way if MLK was here and supported Obama, would people shoot him down for that. Remeber MLK was influenced by Ghandi. Is Ghandi the anti-christ.

  18. Jason says:

Are the facts concerning this issue the thruth? or is this all about politics : Oprah-Obama- Christanity? Can someone please confirm how real this is before we start throwing stones – I like to triple check on what i hear on Tv and read on the web nowadays.

Whatever the outcome is – The buck stops at my own doorstop – Work out my own salvation – with fear and trembling -

Somebody please remind me to solve my own problems before I start analyzing other peoples issues.

    Thanks

  19. Doug says:

    Jemel,
I agree that it is unwise to proclaim any person as “the” anti-christ. I also agree that a bad message is sent when Christians speak of the peace that we have with one breath and trepidation over a foe already promised to be defeated with the next. I get all that. Is there a danger under the surface of pagan acts? Yes. Should Christians discuss this boldly and soberly? Absolutely. We are to protect others from being torn down just as we are to build each other up.

In that vein of thought, please allow me to remind you of a few things that you should appreciate as a Christian.

She is far more Christian than any of us when it comes to works.

Are we saved by works? Yes and no. The only works that will matter in the and are the works of Christ on my behalf. All of my righteous deeds are as filthy rags in the eyes of God. Any religion of works-righteousness performed by the self is anti-Christian, as it effectively removes the perceived need for Christ.

Because of this, Christians ought to be the most tolerant of people and the least judgmental. We don’t exactly have this as our reputation, but that is caused by Christians who have (at least momentarily) forgotten that we are saved by grace, which can only be grace if we do not deserve it ourselves.

I didn’t gather any info for this post, nor did I name it. The name of the post is the name of the video on YouTube. The info is snippets, but anyone who watches Oprah on any kind of a regular basis will know that the content depicted in this video is not abnormal.

Jesus came here on earth to destroy the mindset of civilization and how they viewed things.

Gotta disagree with you wholeheartedly on this one. Becoming a Christian will change the way you view things, but that is a side effect of the true reason He came. To quote John the Baptist: “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29.

Political front runners will be coming up frequently in the comments here. But politics is not a major focus of this blog.

    ’nuff said.
